THE BLUEPRINT
Blueprints For Pangaea is built upon two concepts:
Humanity and Sustainability
We embody these core values by redirecting life saving medical supplies away from landfills
and into the hands of medical professionals making a difference where it is most needed around the world.
OUR SUPPLY CHAIN

1. PARTNER
Blueprints For Pangaea chapter locations at colleges across the country partner with affiliated university medical centers to collect surplus medical supplies.
2. collect
These supplies are transported to one of our climate-controlled storage warehouses, where they are then stored until a sufficient quantity for shipment has been collected.
3. verify
Blueprints For Pangaea works with nonprofit partners to verify medical supply quality and integrity. Supplies are then sorted and prepared for shipment.
4. ship
Blueprints, independently, or via a non-profit partner, arranges for transport of the supplies. These shipments are then sent to communities in need all over the world.
HOW DO WE PAY FOR IT?
Our model sustains itself by first minimizing costs wherever possible, and then judiciously allocating funds where they remain. As a student-run organization, we are proud to say that there is not a single salaried employee on our team. This means 100% of every dollar received goes directly towards our mission.
When costs cannot be avoided we have successfully pursued 4 main avenues of sustainability.

FUNDRAISERS
Blueprints has orchestrated several successful fundraising efforts through sale of merchandise, consumables, as well as various local business fundraisers.
Our affiliate chapters collaborate with their respective universities as student organizations. Due to the role they play on campus, chapters are often the recipient of student government funding. This provides a steady stream of revenue to address overhead costs such as warehousing and administrative fees.
