Michigan State University

Chapter est. 2016

The Michigan State University chapter of Blueprints for Pangaea is currently focused on building up its operations through fundraising, inventorying, and member engagement. They’ve hosted creative fundraisers like a plant sale to support their chapter and raise awareness about their mission. They are working on sourcing local clinics to send medical supplies to and organizing their inventory to make sure shipments run smoothly. A big part of their focus has also been educating new members, hosting events that explain what Blueprints is all about, and walking them through the inventorying process. The MSU chapter is laying strong groundwork for long-term impact while finding ways to stay connected to both their local and global communities.

Executive Board

Founded in 2016, the executive board of the Michigan State University chapter of Blueprints for Pangaea leads a team of 15–20 students based in East Lansing. The board is focused on expanding the chapter’s impact by identifying local clinics that can benefit from surplus medical supplies, including suture kits and prescription items. They are committed to streamlining inventory and shipment efforts while ensuring that supplies reach communities in need. In addition to their operational goals, the executive board has partnerships with organizations such as UNICEF and Global Brigades, strengthening their network and expanding opportunities for collaboration on global health initiatives.
