University of Southern California
Chapter est. 2020
The USC chapter of Blueprints for Pangaea bridges healthcare gaps by reallocating surplus medical supplies to underserved communities, with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility. Through logistics, outreach, and advocacy, our students make tangible impacts both locally and globally, supporting communities from Ukraine to the Philippines and partnering with organizations like Claris Health and Shelter Partnership. Whether coordinating shipments, distributing N95 masks during the 2025 LA wildfires, or expanding community partnerships, we are committed to advancing equitable healthcare access worldwide.

Executive Board
Founded in 2020, Blueprints for Pangaea at USC has grown into a vibrant chapter of approximately 36 active members, primarily operating in the Los Angeles area. Since its founding, the chapter has shipped over $1,162,543.55 worth of medical supplies to communities in need. Driven by a passionate and committed student team, our chapter has cultivated strong partnerships with local hospitals, nonprofit organizations, and student groups, helping expand our reach. We deeply appreciate Keck Medicine of USC in particular for their invaluable partnership that makes our work possible.
Our Departments
The public-facing branch of B4P, Development deals with everything related to outreach. From bolstering our social media presence to communicating with beneficiaries, Development helps connect B4P to organizations and communities across the world.
Recruitment
The USC chapter recruits twice every year; once at the beginning of fall semester and once at the beginning of spring semester. Applications open in the first or second week of students arriving on campus; this is followed by tabling at involvement fair week. The week after is dedicated to info sessions specific to B4P, as well as an open shipment for members to experience what a B4P inventory day looks like. The application closes soon after, followed by first round behavioral interviews over Zoom. The application process concludes with a group case interview in-person!
Check back in mid-August (for Fall Cycle recruitment) or early January (for Spring Cycle recruitment) for updated interest form and application links via our Linktree!
