Ohio State University
Chapter est. 2016
The Ohio State chapter of Blueprints for Pangaea is committed to addressing both global and local healthcare disparities through sustainable medical redistribution and educational outreach. One of their key initiatives includes monthly shipments of surplus medical supplies to Honduras and past efforts to deliver aid to Ukraine during times of crisis. Locally, they support free clinics by providing much-needed resources and supplies. Beyond physical donations, the chapter promotes mental health awareness through a community-focused project that creates and distributes brochures and pamphlets. These materials list local clinics and mental health resources, aiming to connect individuals with accessible care. This mental health initiative, launched at Ohio State, has since expanded to other chapters such as the University of Michigan, increasing the impact across the broader Blueprints for Pangaea network.

Executive Board
Founded in 2016, the Ohio State chapter of Blueprints for Pangaea has grown into a passionate team of approximately 25–30 students based in Columbus, Ohio. The executive board oversees several impactful initiatives, including monthly medical supply shipments to Honduras and partnerships with organizations like the Ronald McDonald House to support families in need. One of their standout efforts is the Wellness Within Reach project, which aims to improve mental health awareness by creating and distributing brochures and pamphlets that list free clinics and local mental health resources. This initiative began at Ohio State and has since expanded to other Blueprints for Pangaea chapters, including the University of Michigan, where it continues to grow and serve diverse communities. The Ohio State team also collaborates with alumni from Island Pacific Academy in Kapolei, Hawaii, further extending the project’s reach and impact.
