In April 2025, Blueprints for Pangea hosted a Day of Service to

strengthen our presence on the University of Michigan campus and deepen our engagement with the Ann Arbor community. As part of this initiative, volunteers assembled 200 dental hygiene goodie bags using materials sourced affordably through our operations team. Each kit included a toothbrush and toothpaste set, individually wrapped floss picks, a goodie bag, and mouthwash, and volunteers also prepared around 300 utensil kits at the Utensil Kit Making Station. We delivered the dental kits to Hope Clinic, a free community clinic that provides comprehensive medical and dental care, along with food assistance and other essential services, to uninsured and underserved residents in Ypsilanti and surrounding areas. Hope Clinic plays an essential role in reducing health and resource disparities in Washtenaw County, and donated hygiene supplies help support the hundreds of patients they serve each month.

This project not only provided needed oral-care materials that directly support Hope Clinic’s work, but also strengthened Blueprints for Pangea’s ongoing partnership with the organization. Through the Day of Service, we brought together volunteers from multiple departments, increased awareness of our mission, and demonstrated our commitment to addressing local health needs. By supporting a clinic known for its compassionate, accessible, and community-centered services, this initiative highlighted the positive impact Blueprints can make locally while reinforcing our role as a reliable partner in community health.
