UM Student-Run Free Clinic

Ann Arbor, MI | May 2023, Dec. 2023

In December 2023, the University of Michigan chapter of Blueprints for Pangaea completed a small but meaningful shipment to the UM Student-Run Free Clinic. Although only

10 pounds of supplies were needed, this delivery played an important role in supporting a clinic that provides free, compassionate care to some of the most vulnerable uninsured/underinsured patients in Livingston County, Michigan.

The supplies – valued at roughly $40 – were transported by car at no cost, making the effort both simple and impactful. For the clinic, even a modest infusion of basic medical materials helps stretch limited resources and keeps day-to-day operations running smoothly.

This shipment highlighted Blueprints for Pangaea’s commitment to serving not just global communities, but local ones too. By directing surplus supplies to the student-run clinic, the organization reinforced an ongoing partnership established previously in the year and helped ensure that deprived patients in Livingston County, Michigan continue receiving the care they need.
